I choose books in a wierd way. When I find lists of Best Books online, I'll open a tab for GoodReads and add each of those books to my "To Read" list. So, I had added this book a while ago. Then looking to switch from a non-fiction binge to fantasy, I started this audiobook a week ago, rather blindly, which is also typical. I don't look it up on Wikipedia until afterwards so that I don't shadow my opinions or expectations.

The first thing I noticed was that the readers of the audiobook was the same that did Wheel of Time. Considering how long it took to get through that epic, it was a wonderfully familiar pair of voices.

Now that I finished the book and looked it up... OMG, IT'S THAT BRANDON SANDERSON. No wonder I love it so. But AHHHH!!!!! There are only 2 books out of 10 released! As long as he doesn't pull a George R. R. Martin, I guess I can be patient.

But I am starting the second book right away.
