@ajn142 - This is an absolute favorite of mine.

It's spiritual sequel (or actual sequal?) Diamond Age is my all time favorite book... ever....

But dang, does Snow Crash hold a special place in my heart!

@tinker @ajn142 I found the pedophilia some tough reading. I do see why it defined a whole new genre though. Cyberpunk's cool neon theme is firmly built on this

I was really young when I read it, so maybe I identified with the younger character and didn't know to look for it.
