This was pretty good. Told from the perspective of a new set of characters, but the original cast does make an appearance.

Much more on space strategy than the previous which was a fun change of pace.

So I have really enjoyed most everything by Scalzi. But this one just didn't do it for me.

It felt like it meandered till about halfway through and then just rushed to tie everything together, having characters make choices that just seemed odd.

I do, however, hope for more stories in this universe as the premise was good, and I liked the previous two books a lot.

This was a silly book with ridiculous leaps in plot and logic, giant plot holes, and heavy handed parody.

I haven't laughed this hard at a scifi book since Hitchhikers Guide.
