Would have done 3.5 stars if I could have. Very slow to start, I had trouble figuring out where the author was going at first. By the end, I was definitely entertained, and am moving on to the 2nd book in the series.

Fun book, suffered a little from the same problem I had with Under the Dome - was going great guns, then ran into a wall and was done. shrugs

There's an awesome callout to something from lots of people's childhoods that made me LOL.
