This is a great book exploring the concept of designing products so that they can be reused. The authors distinguish between two types of raw materials, biological and technical. The authors propose focusing on making products that are not disposable. Rather they suggest that products should be designed to be deconstructed so that the raw materials can be reclaimed and reused without getting contaminated by other components in a recycling effort.
