I have this book the ‘ole college try (I read about 1/5th). Sadly, I couldn’t get into the story, which should have been very cool! I didn’t find the characters relatable or likeable, and the perspective shifts between chapters was just distracting.

UPDATE, 8/24

OK, I decided to come back to this book. In the end, I liked it! The story was very slow to start and I did find myself apathetic to the plot and the characters. But as I read more, it became much more entertaining. I've revised my original assessment, and I give this 4 stars. MUCH better second half read than first half!
