Didn't seem like a usual Christopher Moore book for a long while, but we got there in the end. Enjoyable. I loved Petey. Petey was by far my favorite.

Seemed like a transitional story going towards the the rest of the series. Glad I got this on sale - $10 for a novella-length book seems a bit steep.

4.5 stars. Interesting look at one woman's experiences in the classical music scene in New York in the 80s. Interesting history given as well to the rise and decline of classical music here in the US.

Really 3.5 stars. Definitely a complete tone shift from the first book. Still enjoyable at times.

I really enjoyed this book. Ms. Chambers seems to be a fine world builder. Looking forward to more of her work.
