A lot of fun
This book fills in the gaps of the previous book, only from his daughter's perspective. It resolved some plotholes so that was nice, but on the whole, it just felt incomplete. I think it would have been better with both books combined.

This was better than the Last Colony, but I still felt like the books were missing something, even if I pictured them as a single volume. That being said, the wit and humor was there, so it was a fun read.
