Hannah Steenbock reviewed The Regressor King by AJ Sherwood
Long book with many plot twists, sweet MCs and dependable relationsips. Total win!
5 stars
This is one long, chonky book with many, many plot twists and turns. It has clear elements of cozy - the good chars truly work well with each other, but also some rather dark parts when the villains get loose or trauma becomes too much. Those balance out nicely, or it would have been too sweet a book.
This will definitely become one of my comfort books, especially when I have much uninterrupted time. James and Edwin are just so wonderful and caring, and they have each others' backs all the time. That's what I love to see in a relationship, that unwavering support.
Definitely another good one from AJ Sherwood.
